The following photos were taken by Bob Schaeffer on the Schaeffer's trip on Goose #4 on August 29, 1951. The first is at the lunch stop at Trout Lake. The second picture shows the cabin site the Schaeffers picked after Bob went to work for the Western Colorado Power Co. the following year.(This trip was the deciding factor in their moving from Oklahoma to Colorado.) The following year they purchased RGS coach 252 and had it trucked from Dallas Divide to this site at Trout Lake where it sat for 49 years. Additional photos were taken on the RGS High Line near Ophir. The final photo is the Schaeffer's MG-TD at the Ridgway depot.
